It's a nursery!

We are finally finished with the nursery....all that's waiting is the baby - well, and two things for the walls that I haven't ordered online yet. One is the picture of the smiling orange hippo, and the other is a big white letter representing his first initial. I would order that, but I just want to be sure that we're 100% sure about the baby's name before I buy that.

So...here it is!

Changing table made by Marc, you can't see the bottom shelf, it has all the books, piggy banks, and some more diapers.

I like the design we found (and copied, like Marc did with the dresser) because when you don't want a changing table anymore the top part that holds the changing pad lifts off and tada! you have yourself a functional shelving unit or table.

I have 3 pictures on the walls by Ned Obeck. I started collecting these as a teenager from an art fair that came to my hometown each year. I never had a nursery in mind back then, but a few of them are really appropriate for any nursery - bright, fun, etc.

A close up of the beautiful hippo bedding my friends got us. I LOVE IT!!!

Another shot of the dresser Marc made - all filled out now with clothes and blankes, etc. We need some pictures for those frames:)

His crib, and a shot of the striped walls. I just wanted one wall striped, and it makes the room look so big and open. Fun!

Closet shot. It's full of playthings and more clothes that won't fit for a few months.

I'm really happy with the way the nursery turned out. It's overwhelming putting together a nursery, babies have a lot of things. It was a complete disaster to start, I spared you guys the "in the works" pictures. I feel calm in there now, and I think that once the baby is in there he will like it too!
